Speedwatch, which is currently being carried out until the end of October, will include the logging of those vehicles which are disregarding the 7.5 tonne weight restriction on the Harlestone Road from Church Brampton crossroads and reporting them to the police. Following a request by 8-year old Great Close resident Jack to the "Make-a-Wish" charity, a group of 50 volunteers, including landscape gardeners, builders, tree surgeons and local residents as well as family and friends transformed the garden of his home with play equipment and a summerhouse .
